Over a couple of weeks, the BLISS organization was able to host a fundraiser to raise money for Campaign Zero and KYRC COVID-19. The contributions earned from the clothing drop were able to help support efforts against police brutality and racial injustice. The sweaters pictured are just a couple of the four different styles that were offered, and the designs were created by Olya Sukonrat '21 from the Hotchkiss School. Campaign Zero is a police reform campaign proposed by Black Lives Matter activists, and KYRC COVID-19 is a fund to address the disproportionate impact of the pandemic in Black and Brown communities. The BLISS team is planning on continuing to create a positive change by offering more fundraising opportunities in the future.
